Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Invitezy, including our website, editor, and published invitation pages (together, the "Services"), operated by [PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name] ("Invitezy", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Invitezy lets you create, customize, and publish digital invitations (weddings, birthdays, and other events) using our templates, and share them with guests via a unique link. We also provide guest RSVP tracking, wishlist, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

To use Invitezy, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction

• Provide accurate registration information (name, email, phone number)

• Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us of any unauthorized use

• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You may sign up with an email/password or via Google Sign-In. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

Some features (such as publishing an invitation) require payment. By making a payment, you agree to the following:

• Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank details on our servers.

• Pricing & Currency: Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

• What You're Paying For: Payment unlocks publishing and/or premium features for a specific invitation, as described at checkout.

• Refunds: Because publishing immediately unlocks digital access to your invitation link, payments are generally non-refundable once an invitation has been published or shared with guests. If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from using a paid feature, contact us within 7 days of payment at hello@invitezy.com and we will review your request.

• Failed/Duplicate Payments: If Razorpay confirms a duplicate charge or a payment that failed to unlock the corresponding feature, we will refund the erroneous charge via the original payment method.

• Price Changes: We may change our pricing at any time. Changes will not affect invitations already paid for.

You retain full ownership of the content you upload — including names, event details, messages, and photos ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant Invitezy a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Services (for example, rendering your invitation page and generating share previews).

You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm that you own it or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and share it (including consent from any people shown in photos). We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it for purposes unrelated to providing the Services without your consent.

Published invitations are accessible to anyone who has the unique link — treat your link like you would a physical invitation, and share it only with intended guests. We do not list invitation pages publicly or submit them to search engines.

You may delete your invitation at any time, after which it will no longer be accessible. We may also, at our discretion, archive, disable, or remove invitations that are inactive for an extended period, associated with a terminated account, or that violate these Terms. Where practical, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before removing an active invitation.

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringes on someone else's rights

• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity

• Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or use guest data collected through Invitezy for purposes outside the invitation itself

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, invitations, or our systems

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Services or our templates without written permission

• Upload malicious code or interfere with the normal operation of the Services

We may suspend or terminate access for any account that violates this policy, and may remove violating content without prior notice.

The Invitezy name, logo, templates, software, and design are the property of Invitezy and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use our templates to create and publish your own invitations. This license does not extend to reselling, redistributing, or reproducing our templates as a standalone product.

The Services rely on third-party providers, including Razorpay (payments), Cloudinary (media hosting), and Google (sign-in). Your use of these integrations may also be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or practices of third-party services.

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if required by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as Ownership, Liability, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invitezy and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to Invitezy in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Invitezy harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [PLACEHOLDER: city], India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
